Bloomington, Indiana – The Friends of Art will host the Annual Friends of Art Fine Arts Library Benefit. The Fine Arts Library is a vital resource for art students, faculty, and the Bloomington community, and for 28 years, the Friends of Art has supported Fine Arts Library acquisitions by hosting this wonderful evening of fun, food, and friends. This year, Ed Bernstein, Emeritus Professor of Printmaking, will present a free, public lecture entitled “Mythical Venice” at 4:00 pm in Fine Arts room 102.

The Benefit reception (reservations required) will follow, and includes wine from Oliver Winery and delicious Italian bites catered by Cynthia Moriarty Catering in the Fine Arts Library at 5:30 pm. With ticket purchase, guests will be able to choose a unique ceramic coaster handprinted by an Indiana University Printmaking student, have the opportunity to meet the new print faculty, and bid on some of their amazing work.

Tickets for the Benefit reception are $60.00 and reservations are due by January 17, 2014. For more information call the Friends of Art at (812) 855-1333 or email foart@indiana.edu.
