Primary Source Literacy Skills
The Wylie House correspondence and photograph collections are often used to demonstrate research skills related to primary sources. Financial records, maps, and ephemera also support both course content and lend themselves to evaluation, interpretation, and critical thinking skills. The Director, Carey Champion, welcomes the opportunity to work with faculty to understand their course objectives and provide the materials and/or lead instructional sessions which further these skills at the beginner, intermediate, or expert level of research.
